世代を超えて集うBluegrass ― Super Pickersと共に、Ricky Skaggs、Tony Rice、そしてThe Nash Ramblers時代のSam BushやJohn Randallらとレコーディングされたアルバムの数々からお届けします。

This marks the third edition of our Emmylou Harris TributeーBluegrass version！
Together with the cross-generational Bluegrass “Super Pickers,” we’ll be featuring selections from albums recorded with legends such as Ricky Skaggs, Tony Rice, and artists from the Nash Ramblers era including Sam Bush and John Randall.

Emmylou Harris Tribute も、今回で Volume 9 を迎えました。
これまで Hot Band、Nash Ramblers、Bluegrass など、さまざまなスタイルでお届けしてきましたが、今回は特にリクエストの多かった 「SPYBOY」 をテーマに開催いたします。
「SPYBOY」とは、1998年にエミルー・ハリスがリリースしたライブアルバムのタイトルであり、そのアルバムをレコーディングしたメンバーでツアーを行ったバンド名でもあります。
メンバーは Emmylou Harris、Buddy Miller、Daryl Johnson、Brady Blade の4人。
そして2025年、この名盤が新たにリイシュー盤として ボーナストラック入りでLP・CD でリリースされたタイミングを受け、今回のテーマを SPYBOY に決定いたしました。

Emmylou Harris Tribute has now reached Volume 9.
So far, we’ve explored many different styles—The Hot Band, Nash Ramblers, Bluegrass, and more—but this time, we’re excited to present the long-requested theme: “SPYBOY.”
“SPYBOY” is the title of the live album Emmylou Harris released in 1998, and also the name of the band she toured with, made up of the musicians who recorded that album.
The lineup features Emmylou Harris, Buddy Miller, Daryl Johnson, and Brady Blade.
With the live album newly reissued on LP and CD with Bonus tracks in 2025, we felt this was the perfect moment to dedicate this tribute to SPYBOY.

やっとお会い出来たサエキけんぞうさん(パール兄弟)、そして久しぶりに会えた宙也さん(ALLERGY、De-LAX)とD.I.E.ちゃん(hide、Ra:IN)。写真は撮れなかったけれど、久しぶりに会えたミュージシャンが今夜はいっぱいでした！みんなに会えて、話が出来て幸せ

日本のスーパーBassist、そしてThe Club Sensationのオーナー、michiakiくんにサエキさんを紹介して〜ってお願いしちゃった

サエキさんは最近、私が40年来お世話になっている京都Kenny’sの永冨研二さんや永冨真梨ちゃんと繋がりもあり、ロックシーンだけでなくカントリーミュージックの世界でも繋がりがあって、ずっとお会いしたいと思っていました

私も対談させていただいた永冨真梨ちゃんと大和田俊之さんの著書『カントリーミュージックの地殻変動』をご紹介くださったBlogを読み、勝手にご縁を感じていました。

いつも素敵な出会いと繋がりをくれるミッチー、@michiaki_suzuki くんと @clubsensation_yokohama に本当に感謝いつもありがとう！

Keiko Walker’s Music Box Episode 34　Guest：金平隆
お越しいただきましたみなさま、本当にありがとうございました！

金平さんとは私が10歳くらいからのお付き合いになります。
伯父のカントリーのライヴハウスに金平さんのバンド、「Bitter Sweet」（後にFUIIYAMA PAPA）で出演していた頃、私は子供の頃一番好きなバンドでした。その後、金平さんのバンド、「Texas Company」に10代で入りました。それからは色々な場面でステージをご一緒させて頂いています。
昨日は懐かしい日本のカントリーについて沢山写真を見ながら二人でお話しさせて頂きました！
