For the past couple of weeks, I’ve had ’80s–’90s country music on heavy rotation—whether I’m driving or cooking! It’s so exciting, I almost want to break into a Two-Step 😍 That era marked a major shift in country music.
I’m currently organizing my thoughts for next week’s Music Box Episode 24, on Thursday, May 8th, where I’ll be chatting with guest Seiji Katayama.
We’ll touch on these artists next week too, but today happens to be the memorial day of Naomi Judd from The Judds, who passed away in 2022.
Seiji and I both have so many artists we want to talk about—will we even fit it all into one episode? 😂
The photo is of Annabelle and Naomi Judd’s book, which I bought at a bookstore in California around 1993, just after it was published. I’ve been rereading it a bit lately.
