West Coast Session 2026、100人越えの満員御礼！
お越しいただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました！
20年以上続くこのイベントですが、Thumbs Upの閉店により今年でこの会場とはお別れ。来年もまた、どこかで続けられたら嬉しいな……！
もともとはDaddy前田さん、そして中村さんへのトリビュート。 出演者はみんな、80年代の渋谷「Aspen Glow」からの長い付き合いです。 今回私は昨年天国へ行った大の仲良し、西海ミカを想い、彼女のがいつも歌っていたLinda Ronstadtを歌い尽くしました。
客席にはSurfersのNalu夫婦やTroubadourの鮫島さんなど、70年代の音楽とファッションを愛する「いつもの仲間」が勢揃い。最高の夜でした。
みんな、また笑顔で集まろうね！
Thank you to the 100+ people who made our night at Thumbs Up so special. With the venue closing, this marks the end of an era for us there, but hopefully, we’ll be able to gather again next year!.
This event is all about legacy—honoring Daddy Maeda and Mr. Nakamura. We’ve all known each other since our “Aspen Glow” days in the 80s!
This year, I dedicated my performance to my late friend Mika Nishiumi. I sang her favorite Linda Ronstadt tunes which she used to sing at this event with all my heart. Seeing the owners Nalu & Sayuly from Surfers, Mr Samejima from Troubadour, and Bubble Over in the crowd. It was a gathering of old friends who share a deep love for 70s music and fashion. It was truly a perfect night.
